The Oregon Trail is a remake of the classic computer game in which players go on a virtual version of the trek that early 19th century pioneer settlers made and face all the hard challenges they would have encountered on the Oregon Trail. Travel Oregon, the state’s tourism organization has released a playable version of the game. Of course this new version has a few tweaks to reflect the modern Oregon experience including all it’s famous hipster quirks. Players can still explore the outdoors on skiing adventures and nature hikes. But they can also drink craft beer and pretend to be a sommelier. Or go hunting for wild life to get some food on the table.
